Sora J. Kasuga (they/she) is a circus artist, producer, model, writer, speaker, and face equality activist. As a circus artist, Sora has performed all over the world, from the Arctic Circle to Zambia. Performing highlights include Solo Flight, a film by the Heidi Latsky Dance Company, being a featured act at the Shanghai International Comedy Festival and headlining on Disney Cruise Lines. Throughout their 20-year career as a performer in the entertainment industry, they have experienced firsthand the ironclad system that erases and denigrates people with visible differences, starting with the dehumanizing portrayals of facial disfigurement on stage, on screen, in print, and throughout the media stratosphere. This is why they are thrilled to be represented by Zebedee Talent who is leading the way in positive representation. As an activist, Sora has spoken at the United Nations, been featured on Today.com, and served on multiple panels for Face Equality International. In a society built on shutting certain people out, Sora reaches for an inclusive world that emerges stronger because of our differences, not despite them.
