Maille is an 18-year-old model, actress, dancer, and vascular birthmark advocate. Born with a rare condition called Klippel-Trenaunay Syndrome, which affects 1 in every 100,000 individuals worldwide, Maille has a large port wine stain vascular birthmark that runs from her lower back down her right leg to her pinky toe. Marked for a purpose, Maille works to serve as a representative of the vascular birthmark community and create a difference in the lives of other individuals born with vascular anomalies.
Founder of her non-profit organization, ReMARKable you!, Maille encourages all individuals to celebrate their unique differences in order to manifest their most genuine selves. She is a published author of her children’s book, No More Leggings for Lainey, and tours elementary schools to share her message that what makes you different makes you ReMARKable! Maille is also founder of ReMARKable girls, a youth empowerment program, and presents at wellness fairs and events throughout her community.
Igniting her love of the camera and runway, Maille started her career in pageantry. Maille will never miss an opportunity to allow her personality to shine on set, with her bold confidence, joyful personality and command of the audience. She has held numerous pageant titles and won countless photogenic, spokesmodel and modeling awards. An accomplished competitive dancer, Maille has been dancing since she was 2 ½, and performs in all genres. She has held numerous National Top 10 placements and was recognized as a Tap Battle Champion.
An advocate with a strong sense of purpose, Maille serves for several non-profit organizations for the vascular birthmark, vascular anomaly and RARE disease community. She is also co-chair for the annual Pennsylvania Purple Polka Dot Race, which raises funds for the vascular birthmark community.
Maille loves working with children and animals, and is currently pursuing her degree in Elementary Education. In her free time, she is an avid runner and phytophile, spending time in her gardens and greenhouse at her school.
