Kimberly is a model/ Actress based in the surrounding New York area. She was born inPhiladelphia, PA & Trained at Temple University Theatre where she received her BFA. She was an advanced student & two years ahead in school. She began Undergraduate studies at the age of 16.
Kimberly was not born disabled, She was struck by a truck at high speed in January 2014 which resulted in her Spinal injuries & triggered Fibromyalgia as well as other autoimmune & chronic illnesses. Once she was unable to continue her careers in the corporate world, teaching theatre, producing, directing & Acting. She began advocacy for young persons suffering from invisible disabilities & chronic illness Via her support group on Facebook & Her instagram (FibroMyFashion) dedicated to both support & education for able bodied allies and caregivers.
Most recently she has included self advocacy when it comes to healthcare, giving as many people information that can be lifesaving when seeking out & receiving care. Her goal is to show that lifestyle & fashion doesn’t have to change with disability. Post disability she has used her platform to become a brand ambassador for many brands that are disability friendly and adaptive. She became an American ambassador for the UK based NeoWalk Sticks in 2020. It has always been a dream for Kimberly to represent mobility aid users on fashion runways, & show how fashion fits on persons sitting in a wheelchair versus standing.
She loves her dogs, seeing live music, traveling to new places, learning new languages and cultures. She started a small shop to represent disabled creatives, and enjoys crafting in her free time. Kimberly loves interior design, and has refurbished furniture for personal use & for others. She enjoys vlogging haircare tutorials via YouTube, and used to maintain a blog on her website that encompassed her passions & told her full story.
She has lost 120 lbs and has styled herself and others from petite to plus. Kimberly enjoys trying new looks & transforming as her fashion sense is as electric as her music taste. Her first love will always be performing & the creative arts. She is very social and considers herself to be an ambivert due to being able to speak/ perform in front of large crowds while also dealing with anxiety, duality is what keeps her well rounded, balanced, relatable & empathetic.
