As a native New Yorker, residing in Huntington, alexia is a 19-year-old young lady with what we like to refer to as “up syndrome” instead of down syndrome as it best describes her vibrant and contagiously upbeat personality!

Alexia radiates beauty both inside and out. She loves life and is always on the lookout for the next adventure to embark on. She is sassy, loving, energetic, artistic, friendly and very fashionable! her self-confidence aspires her to be a model/actor. She loves travelling, enjoys exploring different cuisines, loves music, reading books, movies and sailing on the family boat, seeking the thrill of speed through the waters. the creative freedom of art and dancing freely, motivates and inspires her.

Alexia is extremely engaging and confident and cherishes time spent with friends and family! She is also a visionary as the founder of a special needs boxing program at New York fitness and boxing gym in ny, where she also trains and takes boxing classes - staying fit. She co-hosts dance socials for the special needs community and enjoys participating and volunteering in fundraising events, interacting with people and promoting products.

Currently a high school student, she attends a lifes skills and vocational retail tech program. She loves being a part of her community, learning skills at local job sites, such as Gregory’s Coffee shop, dsw shoes and John’s Crazy Socks. Alexia has also been a part of her high school varsity dance team for four years, performing at homecoming events.

When given the opportunity she rises to the occasion and delivers with a “can do” attitude and a grand smile!
