Letizia is a dynamic 21-year-old woman with Down Syndrome who lives and works in New York City and is actively pursuing her education at Cooke School Transition Program Downtown.
She radiates boundless energy and enthusiasm, earning her admiration among peers and friends at school. She is a cherished community member known for her outstanding self-confidence and exceptional social skills. Originally from a family of Italian descent, she is fluent in Italian and English.
Beyond academics, Letizia derives immense joy from performing and modeling. Having attended the Arts Educational Schools in London from 2019 to 2022, she honed her acting, singing, and dancing skills. She has continued her artistic journey in New York under one-to-one coaching, refining her abilities and confidence.
Letizia's foray into fashion and modeling began in November 2019, as one of 20 finalists at the Global Down Syndrome's Gala 'Be Beautiful Be Yourself Fashion Show' in Denver, USA. Walking the catwalk alongside Hollywood actress Laura Legget Lynney in front of an audience of 1000 people. Her talents were once again showcased in 2020 as a finalist at the Westminster Dance Grand Competition at the London Greenhouse Centre.
In November 2021, Letizia was featured in the pages of the 'Art Special' issue of Wallpaper magazine; and in February 2022 in an exclusive feature on art and lifestyle in Harper's Bazaar UK, alongside her mother Valeria Napoleone.
2023 saw Letizia embarking on the notable globally renowned cosmetic brand Clinique's Holidays Season Campaign, solidifying her position as a distinguished individual in the industry. In the same year, she delved into the world of cinema, participating in Federico Napoleone's upcoming movie 'Letter by Letter', set to be released in 2024.
In January 2024 Letizia participated in the Edel’ine L’ee Autumn/Winter 2024 campaign, Mothers and Daughters, showcasing the new collection that emphasized the bond between mothers and daughters. The collection made its debut at London Fashion Week in February 2024.
Letizia's diverse interests span across sports. An excellent swimmer, she enjoys tennis, water skiing, alpine skiing and horse riding. Notably, she attained a black belt in karate in London in 2019 after 10 years of consistent training, showcasing her determination and skill in various disciplines.
