BIOGRAPHY
Joe left acting and modeling 25 years ago due to medical issues. Now, after three years as a below-the-knee amputee and with renewed energy and fitness, he's back at it and super excited to be in this creative world once more. During the intervening years, he's worked as a television executive for CBS and now Disney. He has appeared in print, commercial ads and guest spots on television, both featuring his amputation and not. Joe is a writer, amateur photographer and fitness enthusiast. He is also producing a YouTube series entitled "A Hike to the Top" that features physically disabled people of all varieties on treks in the Hollywood Hills, discussing disability awareness and Charcot Marie Tooth disease. He was set to appear on stage in an original comedy production at the Bristol Riverside Theatre in famous Bucks County, Pennsylvania until Covid hit. He has spoken about the obstacles he’s faced and how to reframe what could be a classic victim tale (abusive childhood, gay kid, addiction, recovery, illness/death, disability acceptance, etc.) Joe is based in Los Angeles right under the Hollywood sign, married for 27+ years and has the most joyous Aussie mix dog in maybe all of America.
