Griffin Ephraim was born and still resides in Redondo Beach located in Los Angeles. He is a joyful and thoughtful person who has accomplished much. He was diagnosed with autism at 18 months and at this ripe young age went to work with therapists 40+ hours a week to adapt and/or overcome his deficits. His love for life, strong work ethic, and humour have attracted great people and circumstances into his life. His favorite person is his brother, Brooks, who attends UCSD. He loves spending time with his brother and would love an opportunity to work with him. Griffin rises to the occasion whether in theatre, sports, or academics. He has surprised many over the years with his “game day” performances. He performed in musicals at a young age and is still involved in a drama program. He joined a Special Olympics swim team in 2023 and won a Gold Medal in the Butterfly event at the 2024 Southern California Special Olympics which was a great thrill and sense of accomplishment for him. He loves creating and re-enacting stories based on the personalities and experiences of his life. His aspirations include modelling, acting and a pursuit of ‘adventure journalism’ as seen through the eyes of autism. He loves the history of all things including movies, theme parks and communities and loves to share this passion with his unique perspective. Although he loves adventure, he also loves to relax. Griffin is very curious and loves to ask questions and learn about all people-and be ready- he remembers your answers. He is profoundly honest. He will ask you questions that will touch your soul and bring a smile to your face.
