Yat is a model and actor located in Vancouver, Canada. He is a Chinese/Canadian raised in Vancouver, British Columbia. He was born with bilateral Microtia, a condition where he has no outer ears. He's also Deaf. While wearing a surgically implanted prosthesis and a bone anchored hearing aid, Yat carries on his work as a disability advocate, consultant and a motivational speaker. He loves to play golf but is still far away from being a professional. Since Yat can’t wear airpods or headsets, he uses an assistive technology that connects music wirelessly to his bone anchored hearing aid. He wears a phone clip to talk on the phone. Yat is a big fan of truffle fries so let’s hop on the potato train!
