Ella Dove is a journalist, author, TEDx speaker and charity ambassador. In 2016, she became an amputee aged 25 following a freak accident, tripping over while out jogging, Ella is currently Features Editor at Woman and Home and Woman's Weekly magazines. Prior to that, she was deputy features editor on Good Housekeeping, Red and Prima magazines and also compiled and edited Red's book section. She has interviewed everyone from Idris Elba to Fearne Cotton and Jacqueline Wilson. Ella was a judge for the 2023 Nero Book Prize. Ella is a member of The Speakers Collective and a trustee for the Limbless Association.
Ella has a BA in English and French from Southampton University. She lives in Kent with her husband George and loves writing, open water swimming, travelling and walks with her gorgeous cavapoo, Daphne.
