Poppy Williams is a hardworking, passionate individual who grasps and excels in every opportunity given. 2 years on from emergency stoma surgery, Poppy shows strength and confidence with the aspiration of educating and inspiring others.
Poppy is passionate about Musical Theatre, shown through her bachelor’s degree. She is a confident singer, actress and dancer who enjoys performing.
Poppy is also extremely organised and punctual shown in her career as a teacher. She has impeccable social skills and can work with a range of individuals, as well as working independently.
Poppy was a keen hockey player throughout high school, where she played for South Wales under 18s. She also thoroughly enjoys working as a team when playing for her weekly netball team. Poppy dedicates lots of her time focusing on her physical and mental health. She enjoys swimming, running and fitness classes, as well as yoga and mindfulness.
Poppy views her stoma as a second chance and new path in life. She now enjoys sharing her personal story/journey online via her Instagram platform (stoma_scene) and helps many people from all over the world. She also dedicates time to raise money for the charity Crohn’s and Colitis UK, through coffee mornings and marathons.
