Nadine is a thirty-nine year old female, based in London.
London has been home for the past 11 years after relocating to the UK from her hometown of Calgary, Canada. Currently working full time in project management for a B-Corp in the built environment, Nadine brings a self-motivated attitude to her work and maintains a forward looking, solution focused mentality.
At a young age of 12, Nadine started to grow grey hair (thanks for her dad!), encouraged to colour her hair, she continually cover it up well into her 30s. In 2017 Nadine decide to embrace her difference and grow out her grey hair. A flattering pattern of grey now frames Nadine’s face, and brings a unique aspect to her appearance.
A first generation Canadian to Trinidadian parents, Nadine grew up in a dichotomy of cultures. Through a desire to embrace and learn more about her ancestry, she is currently embarking on a culinary journey to learn how to cook traditional Trinidadian dishes she grew up with.
She is also an avid second hand shopper; she has a keen interest in the environment, sustainability and circular fashion with particular interest in how individuals can contribute to the slowing of fast fashion. She enjoys bring creative through various mediums, but always comes back to sewing, a skill that was taught to her by her grandmother as a child.
Nadine has a vibrant, energetic and warm demeanour, and looks forward to working with you!
