Lewis is missing the lower part of his left arm. I arrived into the world on 9th June 2020 at 37 weeks. This was a whirlwind for my mummy and daddy who still thought I would be another few weeks until I arrive. When I was delivered by a lovely midwife she noticed I was missing my left lower arm and said “oh, a little arm” this was the first my mummy and daddy knew about my arm. 2 hours after I was born my daddy was asked to leave the hospital due to covid restrictions. My mummy and daddy chose not to tell any family or friends about my arm until we got home from hospital. This was because they wanted them to meet me and not focus on my arm. I was quite poorly when I was born so had to go into an incubator with a blue light, I had only my nappy on and a mask to protect my eyes. Me and my mummy stayed in hospital for 5 days. That was 5 days just me and mummy in hospital as daddy wasn’t allowed back in until he picked us up on June 13th.
