Adam F is a multi-award-winning actor who trained at Drama Centre, one of London's most prestigious drama schools. He was 47 when he graduated which also makes him, quite possibly, their oldest ever graduate.
As a younger man he left school at 15 with few qualifications to work in a factory. At 20, he decided the print trade was not for him and in a move that few saw coming, decided to train as a Contemporary Dancer at The Laban Centre for Movement & Dance.
He had a successful 14-year career touring both nationally and internationally as a professional dancer, mover, choreographer, theatre practitioner before finding the life of a performing artist increasingly difficult to reconcile with the cost of living in London.
With no other means of financial support he reluctantly had to make a shift to address the more material concerns of living. He then set-up a business teaching Pilates and yoga and taught many different client groups including the elderly, professional dancers, Oscar winners and business leaders.
Over a period of 15 years he managed to clear considerable debts and gain more financial stability. However, he always missed performing and the camaraderie of other performers and creatives and as soon as materially able made the decision to return to what he loves doing most. He auditioned for a place at leading drama schools and gained three offers before deciding to attend Drama Centre London.
Adam is an avid Leicester City fan and lives with his partner and young daughter in North West London.
