Tyler Saunders works in the fitness industry as a Personal Trainer and an online Behaviour Change coach, helping people improve their health & wellbeing through habit change.
Tyler is based in London.
But he is a fitness professional with a difference. From birth, he was faced with challenges in physical ability as he was born with his right leg missing from the hip.
Having to rely heavily on a prosthetic limb to aid his mobility and ‘look normal’ he tried his best to cover up his disability and blend in. But in later years he began to embrace his difference, and through his introduction to wheelchair basketball, he embarked on a journey that led him to adopt a healthier and more active lifestyle, which ultimately improved his physical and mental well-being.
Tyler’s 6+ years working in the fitness industry has allowed him to help vast numbers of people improve their health and quality of life, but it has also helped him challenge his own limiting beliefs around what he thought he was physically and mentally capable of.
By his example, Tyler hopes to inspire people and show them that limitations are often self-imposed, and that we are capable of so much more than we give ourselves credit for. He also hopes to encourage people to embrace their unique abilities and differences.
