BIOGRAPHY
My name is Hannah harpin I’m one in 30 people too have my condition which is called Haywell syndrome it’s a type of condition known as ectodermal dysplasia it’s made me born deaf and partially blind but despite all of this I don’t let the condition stop me.
I’ve got a baha hearing aid transplant on the right side of my head I can dance too music with or without my hearing aid.
I’ve been in the spotlight since I was 9 I first time jobs for jeans for genes raising awareness and that’s how I got onto the news papers at a young age ! Then 10 years later I did a news paper article called “ Teenager who is deaf and bald fulfils her dream of signing with a modelling agency after overcoming suicidal thoughts triggered by years of being 'spat at' and taunted because of her appearance“ that’s with the daily mail. Then I did a documentary what’s called bullied for my rare genetical condition.
The reason why I want to do modeling is because I want the next generation too go into a shop and look at the posters and think “it’s okay to be me “ and for them not too be ashamed of how they look and not too be ashamed of their disability!
