Growing up in a small town in Germany, Louisa developed a primary lymphedema in her right leg at the age of 16, rocking compression stockings everyday ever since. Since finishing her A-levels, she has been living, studying and working in 7 cities in 5 countries which made her the open and enthusiastic person that always challenges herself out of her comfort zone that she is today. With her main passions focusing on environmental sustainability and social inclusion, she has been working as a Feminist Climate Activist guest lecturer and official UN representative at the UN COP 26 before working in the European Parliament ENVI Committee (Environment, Public Health and Food Safety). Louisa is currently based in Amsterdam and works as a social and environmental impact reporter in sustainable finance.
In her free time, she loves following a diverse mixture of active and hobbies such as Djing, playing golf and voguing as well as some creative grandma hobbies such as sewing, stitching and painting.
Louisa’s vision is to increase representation and presentation of people with lymphedema in the fashion and media industry to raise awareness, educate people and inspire others while she is on the mission of “trying to be the person she needed when she was younger” and is excited to be part of Zebedee’s inclusion revolution.
