Italy.
Rossella Fiorani is a model and Fashion Management student at the University of Bologna. Since she was born, she bears the signs of a rare disease that has deprived her of some phalanges of the hands and feet. She had a difficult childhood where she suffered discrimination and bullying from her peers due to her diversity, which deeply marked her leading her to hide behind prosthetics that she had made at the age of 16 years. In 2014 she participates in the beauty contest of her city winning the title of Miss Fano, but only in 2017 she competes for Miss Italy, arriving among the finalists and winning the National title Miss Courage, presenting herself without prostheses. Her intent was to break down the stereotypes of beauty understood as perfection and convey the message of never giving up in the face of difficulties.
She is currently a positivity influencer (70k followers on tok tok) and participates in several Italian television programs and interviews who are interested and passionate about her story and eager to convey her message (Marie Claire, Detto Fatto RAI, La Gazzetta della Sport, RTL102. 5).
