Holly is a very youthful looking ( naturally! No botox or fillers for me!) ocean lover, who lives with a disability but manages to still ‘live her best life’ or the best it can be!!! Holly was a child activist & hippie kid. She moved from Sydney to Byron Bay as a teenager.
In her 20’s she worked in the screen and stage industry, on and off camera and also surfed everyday. When Holly was 28, in 2004, she was in a very bad MVA. She spent the next 10 years healing her mind, body and spirit. During this time she also travelled in comfort and style with the ‘pay-out’ money from the MVA, and bought some land near Byron Bay.
Holly is on a disability support pension, and spends most of her days swimming, hiking, doing yoga, catching up with close friends, creating contemporary art, comic books and portrait photography. She is also an advocate and activist for people who have an invisible disability like herself ( without her crutches you would never guess).
There are the occasional days where she is bedridden with pain. But if she has a commitment, she pushes through and uses extra medication to help her manage.
