Kelly is a model and athlete based in Melbourne. At the age of 15 Kelly was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of cancer inside her knee, She was forced to make a decision that would change the direction of her life. This resulted in Kelly losing my leg above the knee in order to survive.
Being a determined and sporty person Kelly decided to focus her time on learning to walk and learning to run again. She then set her sights on the Paralympic games for sprinting and Long Jump.
After putting her all into her goals, Kelly not only became a Paralympian, she became a Paralympic gold and silver medalist at the 2012 London Paralympic games.
Kelly's biggest achievement to date though is her three wonderful children, Max, Charley and Van,
After she had to give up athletics due to injury, Kelly found myself loving powerlifting and representing Australia in world championships and the 2018 Commonwealth Games.
Kelly very passionate about disability awareness and visibility, as well as motivational speaking. Kelly loves fashion and especially loves keeping fit, she hopes to represent Australia again in powerlifting.
