Never one to shy away from pushing boundaries, Tayla uses her platform to engage in challenging and vulnerable conversations.
Tayla was born with a rare syndrome called Moebius Syndrome which affects the 6th and 7th cranial nerves which leaves her with facial paralysis. Tayla has labelled herself as The Girl Who Can’t Smile, but her vibrant, fun-loving, confident and joyful personality makes up for any lack of a smile. Having suffered from severe bullying and mental health issues while growing up, Tayla has turned her pain into power and through her extraordinary vulnerability, shares her story and is a face and voice of hope and inspiration and is creating powerful and purposeful change in the community.
